The bride was born in Asenovgrad, Bulgaria. She was there for 21 years. Thanks to her parents, she came to the U.S. as a Summer worker and she loved it so much that she decided to stay. She has been here for about 16 years. Graduated Cleveland State University with a Bachelors degree in Accounting and a minor in Finance. Big thanks to her sister for insisting she moves to North Carolina; Otherwise, she would never have met the groom! She enjoys going to hockey games and ECU football games for obvious reasons.
The groom was born in Tampa, FL and moved to western North Carolina when he was 3 years old. Having grew up west of Asheville for about 17 years, he moved to Raleigh and attended Wake Tech college. After graduating with two Associate degrees, he continued on the path in higher education and transferred to East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. He is a very proud ECU Pirate alumni! Now having graduated from ECU, he moved from Greenville, back to Raleigh and bought a house. He now enjoys going to Carolina Hurricane hockey and ECU football games.
The couple first met and started talking to each other over the online dating app, Bumble. After having some deep and interesting conversations back and forth over the app, it was decided to meet in person.
On the faithful day of March 3rd, 2019, Violeta and Jeff met at Caribou Coffee in west Raleigh where they locked eyes for the first time as Violeta was standing in line and Jeff walked through the front door. It is needless to say there were sparks at first sight and they delved into spirited conversation over hot coffee.

He was a family man who loved his wife and two girls with all his heart. He always dreamed of having grandkids and taking care of them as well.

The bride's mother was born and raised in Asenovgrad, Bulgaria. She loves the outdoors and attended a prep school for athletes where she ended up exceling in downhill skiing. Currently, she resides in Holly Springs, North Carolina where she enjoys the company of her two grandkids. She is passionate about gardening and baking.
sister
The bride's sister was born and raised in Asenovgrad, Bulgaria. She has been in the U.S. for 14 years and the majority of that time living in Holly Springs, North Carolina. She attended and graduated NC State University with a degree in Accounting. She is passionate about Latin dancing.

The groom's father was born and raised in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He became extremely interested in running and perfected his running style to compete for years in road races. He continues to reside in Western NC near the quaint little town of Waynesville.
mother
The groom's mother was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. She loved to run, through school and road races. Graduated and became a Registered Nurse which she has had as a career for the last three decades. She currently lives near Clayton, NC.
sister
The groom's sister was born in Florida as well and is a year and a month younger. She attended and graduated from Central Carolina College with a degree as a Veterinary Technician and also graduated from American University with a degree in Accounting. She currently lives near Clayton, NC.

Ross is from Raleigh and has been a very good friend of the groom for years. It all started when Jeff held a WWII display at the VFW Post which Ross's dad was the leader of at the time. Ross along with his brother were there to enjoy the display and the rest has been history as they say! Ross is married to his wife Stephanie and he works as a middle school teacher.
Brian hails from close to Tampa, FL and is a cousin of the groom. He has a wife, Chelsea, and two lovely girls, Emily and Lucy. He works in Law Enforement and currently their families big passion is camping together in a new pull along camper.
Alan is co-workers with the bride who both work as Financial Analysts for a pharmaceutical company. Alan lives near Durham and is a huge fan of golf. His girlfriend Nathalie lives next door and they both have an adorable dog named Bert.
Alex lives in Cary and can speak French.
For all of your travel needs, below we cover where you can stay if coming from out of town, directions to arrive to the venue and also a suggested list of sights to see while in the area.
For our guests who are coming from out of town, the best accomodation choice is The Inn at River Landing.
They are very reasonably priced and are only 6 miles away which is about a 9 minute drive from the Duplin Chapel. There is a much larger selection of hotels as well in Wilmington, but it will be closer to a 40 minute drive to the Chapel.
They have 55 rooms for booking with 15 suites. We recommend booking with them early to ensure you have a room for the day of the Wedding.
The directions on how to arrive to the venue is very easy! Using where I-95 and I-40 intersect as a point of reference, you travel down I-40 East towards Wilmington until you reach exit 380.
Once you take that exit, you will make a right turn onto W Charity Rd. and 50 yards down the road on your left will be the entrance to the Chapel at Duplin's Vineyards.

If you have any interest of sight seeing while in the area for the wedding, there is a lot to see and do in the city of Wilmington which is a 40 minute drive from the wedding chapel.
